Introduction
Ranjana Lipi is an elegant script used in Nepal to write Nepal Bhasa(Newari Language), especially within the Newar community. This writing system features graceful characters adorned with intricate curves and loops, lending a distinct artistic flair to the language it represents. Ranjana Lipi is known for its visual appeal and cultural significance.
Compared to other script Ranjana has thick line. The purpose of this thick lined script is to mark the paper for longer duration of time. The letters are uniformly written with equal space. To write this script, it is better to use a specially designer pen.
Anatomy of Ranjana Lipi
Ranjana Script is a bit like the anatomy of the human body, however there's a twist- the characters come with tails!
The most prominent part of the script is the head part which is in ark shape. Followed by the neck part and the bottom is the tail line. There a a hand part but not all the alphabets have the hand part.
